Insulation

Up to 40% of energy loss occurs through an under-insulated home attic.  Properly insulating yur attic can save you up to 20% on your home heating and cooling cost.

The U.S. Department of Energy has rated AttiCat insulation at R-49 rating.  This means maximum energy savings.

This insulation is made up of 35% recycled glass which makes it Energy Star and Greenguard certified.

The insulation we use is a loosefill, expanding, blown-in fiberglass.  It is superior because it is noncombustible and noncorroding by nature.  Over time it won't settle or lose its energy-saving abilities.  It does not absorb moisture, support fungus, mold growth, rot, decay, or provide sustenece for insects or vermin.  It also does not require extra fire-retardant chemicals that can corrode pipes and wires.
