Insulation

Up to 40% of energy loss occurs through an under-insulated home attic.  Properly insulating your attic can save you up to 20% on your home heating and cooling costs.

The U.S. Department of Energy has rated AttiCat insulation at an R-49 rating. This means maximum energy savings.

This insulation is made up of 35% recycled glass, which makes it Energy Star and Greenguard certified.

The insulation we use is a loose-fill, expanding, blown-in fiberglass. It is superior because it is noncombustible and noncorroding by nature. Over time it will not settle or lose its energy-saving abilities. It does not absorb moisture, support fungus, mold growth, rot, decay, or provide sustenance for insects or vermin. It also does not require extra fire-retardant chemicals that can corrode pipes and wires.

iWave

The iWave is an air ionization device that installs in any air conditioning system. When air passes over the iWave, ions produced by the device reduce certain bacteria and viruses, particles, smoke, and odors in the air.

The iWave uses patented technology, called needlepoint bi-polar ionization, to create equal amounts of positive and negative ions. When these ions are injected into the airstream, they reduce passing pollutants, gases, and odors. The ions will also reduce certain viruses and bacteria. Contact with ions has microbicidal effects on certain viruses and bacteria, which ultimately disrupt their surface proteins and render them inactive. The ions also attach to dust and other particles, causing them to band together until they are large enough to be caught by filters.
